Fire and Pumpkins

Bust out the hair spray and light up the pumpkins. In this thrilling short adventure from The Village at Science Drive, Tyler, Amanda, and I prepare for Halloween. Tyler’s got a surprise to share, Amanda’s got a trick to show, and I’ve got a question to ask: What.

A Webb No More

Starring your favorite cast members from the dinner at judy’s series, this wedding video takes us on the emotional, humorous, and completely random journey as Bianca Webb transforms into Bianca Frye.

thanksgiving dinner at judy’s

In the third and final (for now?) chapter of the dinner at judy’s online home movie series, we bring some more unscripted, unrehearsed, and un-classy moments from our lives. After watching this thanksgiving video, you’ll certainly be thankful.

See Chelsea’s Mom

Amanda Westerhouse’s mom wasn’t the first person to drive her car into my ditch. This semi-sequel to See Amanda’s Mom proves that she won’t be the last, either! Just ask Michelle Turbin, Chelsea Turbin’s mother.

birthday dinner at judy’s

Join in on the celebration as Judy and her family bring a new and exciting online home movie. You don’t need to know who we are to understand what’s going on. Being funny helps, though.

To: Virginia

Spanning from Palm Coast, Florida to Richmond, Virginia, I gives you the key moments that everyone faces in a road trip – getting lost, spotting cops, driving, foraging for food, ridiculous road signs, driving, boredom, and, well, some more driving.

dinner at judy’s

The easiest way to explain dinner at Judy Vanderoef’s house is “home movies,” but interesting to watch. Join Judy and friends (and strangers) for a memorable dinnertime experience.

See Amanda’s Mom

Falling in a ditch has never been more embarrassing. For that matter, it’s never been more entertaining. Just ask Jamie Lowe and Amanda Westerhouse. When Amanda’s mom, Pat, came by to drop off some college goodies for Amanda, she didn’t quite make it all the way into the driveway.

Musical Videos

MTV ain’t got nothing on me.

“White Houses,” Jesse Chapman (Live)

Jesse Chapman brings Vanessa Carlton’s hit single “White Houses” to life in this amazing one-night-only live performance.

The Lynching

“The Lynching” is an original song from the Christian music group The Soul Attorneys. I purchased this album for $1 and made this music video for even less.

Die Another Day

Originally premiering at Flagler-Palm Coast High School’s 2004 Talent Show, Die Another Day became a locally popular semi-parody of sexy music videos in general. Starring David Pandich and Jesse Chapman, Die Another Day pits two conflicting personalities against each other at a construction site. The symbolism? Well, none, actually.

This is the Night

This project is very close to my heart because it’s the first video project I ever edited. It’s a short music video to Clay Aiken’s first single, “This is the Night.”

Short Films

Story-driven projects crafted to entertain.

passed

Every moment in life has infinite futures. Every decision you make sets you on a course towards one of those futures. In this three minute short film, Chase and Sarah cross paths briefly — but the experience will change both of their lives forever.

j/k

Commitment is a dangerous thing. That’s something that Katherine knows well. In this one-minute short film, she learns that her boyfriend Jack has a special surprise to show her during dinner. A surprise that makes her take a step back and think about the tough decision ahead.

Project 3

This was my final exam for Cinematic Expression. Kristen Aiello stars with Ashley Walker and Austin Smith in this sci-fi spy thriller. Think X-Files meets 24, told in slide-show format.

two know

“They always loved each other — even when she didn’t.” That’s the tagline for this short film that I submitted to the UCF film school in hopes of acceptance. I guess they liked it.

Recuts

Footage from actual films and television shows with some of my secret sauce. Though I’ve always wondered if my secret sauce ever really does anything.

P.S. I Saw You

A parody of a scene from “P.S. I Love You.” Recut with audio from the popular horror film series “Saw.” Of course, in order to fully appreciate this recut, one would need to have seen both “Saw” and P.S. I Love You. I should probably focus on a more realistic target audience.

24 Housewives

A touching monologue over a scene from 24. Mary Alice Young is famous for her opening and closing monologues to the television show Desperate Housewives. Now, she brings her talents to the doorstep of Jack Bauer – resulting in a touching, and humorous, montage.

24 Makes Everything Better

Inserting the famous 24 commercial break time clock at just the right moment adds a new level of anxiety to these following scenes. If you’re a fan of 24 and you’ve seen some of these movies, you will surely enjoy this short recut.

La danse de l’amour

“Nothing Hurts Like Love” was UK superstar Daniel Bedingfield’s first single off his sophomore album. This short recut, with footage from Baz Luhrmann’s Moulin Rouge, might make you wish Daniel was brought in to work on the original film.

Come on Over (Original Mix)

This fake original cut of Christina Aguilera’s “Come on Over” inter-cuts between her music video and an award winning special effects stunt.

Smith vs. Neo (Whisper 2002)

Featuring footage from The Matrix Revolutions and music from Evanescence, this recut lines up the punches and takes out the dialogue.

What is Drama? (TNT “We Know Drama” Parody)

What is Drama?, a popular advertisement campaign designed to attract viewers to watch TNT, featured popular television and film actors voicing their own definitions of drama. Some of the time, their opinions made sense. Most of the time, they didn’t.

A Black Surprise

Everyone has glanced over at their traffic neighbor at one point or another. Everything seems fine until the extremely awkward moment where they look back. Sometime it’s even scary.
